Yeji, (Bono), Dec. 9, GNA-Mr Emmanuel Kwaku Boam, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) in the Pru East constituency of the Bono East Region secured the seat for the party in the Parliamentary Elections.
Mr Boam polled 20,287 votes to beat his two contenders, Mr Yusif Appeh Apertorgbor, the NPP’s PC who had 8,737 votes and Mr Felix Nyarko, an Independence PC picking 2,504 votes.
A total of 561 votes were rejected, out of the total 32,089 total votes cast.
