Nyankpala (N/R), Dec 07, GNA – Gunshots were allegedly fired at a polling station at Nyankpala in the Tolon Constituency of the Northern Region, leading to the killing of one person, whose name was given as Shaibu Haruna.
The Ghana News Agency gathered that some politicians were allegedly distributing money to voters in the queue at the polling station, an act, which other people, belonging to a different camp, protested against resulting in the gunshots.
