NPP will help maintain peace in the December polls – Adaklu PC

Adaklu Wumenu (V/R), Nov. 10, GNA – Mr.  Bright Kwame Nyatsikor, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Adaklu constituency has said that he and his followers would ensure that peace is maintained before, during and after the 2024 general elections in the constituency.   

He noted that no country could develop in an atmosphere of chaos, anarchy and war.    

Mr. Nyatsikor was addressing the media on the sidelines of the 40th National District Farmers Day celebration at Adaklu Wumenu in the Adaklu district.  

He said Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, who is also the flagbearer was an epitome of peace and therefore it behooves on all NPP members to emulate him.    

Mr. Nyatsikor said before the advent of political parties the people of Adaklu lived in unity and advised that we should not allow politics to divide us.   

 He reiterated the need for policital actors in the area to refrain from mudslinging, insults and personal attacks and rather let the people know their policies and programmes.   

The Parliamentary Candidate noted that the main focus of all politicians in the area should be to develop the area to an enviable level. He also urged them to formulate policies and programmes that would help the youth to take up the mantle of leadership in the future.   

He called on the electorate to give the mantle of leadership to Dr. Bawumiah to enable him continue his vision for the country.   

Mr. Nyatsikor urged the people to vote development and also called on the youth of the constituency to massively for him to enable him represent their interest in Parliament.   

He was optimistic that the dynamics in the voting pattern would change this year, citing the numerous projects had undertaken in the constituency.   

Mr. Nyatsikor mentioned the tarred road from Akueteh to Waya, the Agenda 111 project, good drinking water, school blocks, District Road Improvement Project equipment, Free Senior High School among others.
