Accra, Aug. 22, GNA – Ghana’s team for the upcoming Paris Paralympic Games have arrived at the Games Village ahead of the opening ceremony on August 28, 2024.Â

Following a successful one-week training camp, Team Ghana, consisting of 12 athletes, moved to the Games Village on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.Â

Ghana would compete in four disciplines: para-athletics, para-powerful, paracycling, and para-taekwondo.Â

Tahiru Haruna, who is a medal prospect for Ghana, has been appointed flagbearer for Team Ghana at this year’s games.Â

Team Ghana would be making the sixth appearance at the games, which start from August 28-September 8, 2024.Â

Ghana is yet to win a medal at the Paralympics after making her debut at the global showpiece in Athens back in 2024.Â
