Gbledi-Gbogame Afadjato V/R, Sept. 15, GNA – The Growing Trees Network Ghana (GTNG), an NGO that has engaged itself in tree Planting, on Monday engaged some volunteer farmers and students of Afadjato Senior High School in the Volta Region to plant about 8,180 tree-seedlings.
The seedlings comprised of Coconuts, Prekese, Mullberry, Oranges, Mangoes
Soursop, Ofram, Mahogany and Cedrela.
The exercise was led by Mr. Christopher Boatin the CEO of the NGO.
The Planting took place at the Ahase River Banks, the Afadjato Senior High School compound, and the Gbogame Community under a slight down pour.
Mr Christopher Boatin donated some hand sanitizers and nose masks to the school and the community after the exercise.
