Trump’s doctor says he has tested negative ‘on consecutive days’

Washington, Oct. 13, (dpa/GNA) – US President Donald Trump’s physician says he has tested negative for the coronavirus “on consecutive days.”

In a statement, Sean Conley says “repeatedly negative antigen tests” and other data “all indicate a lack of detectable viral replication.”

The data and guidelines by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention “have informed our medical team’s assessment that the President is not infectious to others.”

The statement was shared on Twitter by Trump’s spokeswoman, who has herself tested positive for the virus, as Trump heads to Florida for a packed campaign rally.
