MTN Ghana gifts hampers to 20 Christmas-born babies in Bono East

Kintampo, (Bono East) Dec. 28, GNA – MTN Ghana, has presented Christmas packages to 20 babies born on Christmas Day December 25 in the Techiman Holy Family and Kintampo Government Hospitals in the Bono East Region. 

Each of the babies received Christmas hampers containing baby diapers, sanitary pads, soaps and detergent, baby courts and wipers, cotton buds, baby powder and others. 

Mr Andrews Tuah, the MTN Ghana ‘s Kintampo Territory Sales Controller told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on the side-lines of separate presentation ceremonies held at Techiman and Kintampo that the presentation was in line with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme. 

He congratulated the nursing mothers and the health workers for the safe deliveries, describing the babies as special and a blessing to society. 

Nine babies, comprising eight girls and a boy, benefited from the package at the Techiman Holy Family hospital, while 10 New-borns comprising four boys and six girls received the Christmas hampers at the Kintampo Government Hospital. 

However, one of the babies died at the Kintampo Government hospital. 

Madam Memuna Seidu, the Midwife in-charge of the Maternity Ward of the Techiman Holy Family Hospital thanked MTN Ghana for the packages.
