Graphic congratulates new GJA executives

Accra, July 5, GNA – The board, management and staff of Graphic Communications Group Limited on Tuesday congratulated the newly elected executives of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).

A statement signed by Mr Ato Afful, the Managing Director, Graphic Communications Group Limited, said: “We are delighted to have you on board as members of the media fraternity to help raise the standards of journalistic practice to uphold and defend the press freedom in Ghana.”

The statement wished the executives the best in their tenure of office.

On Friday June 24, 2022, over 800 members of the GJA elected new regional and national executives for the Association after a legal tussle for more than a year.

The new executives are: Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, President; Linda Asante-Agyei, Vice President; Kofi Yeboah, General Secretary; Dominic Hlordzi, National Organising Secretary; Audrey Dekalu, Treasurer and Rebecca Ekpe, Public Relations Officer.

The executives were sworn into office last week and will serve a three-year term.
