Dzorwulu Special School receives support from ‘November Borns’

Accra, Nov. 22, GNA — The Dzorwulu Special School in Accra Monday received items worth GH¢ 6,000.00 from the Greater Accra Regional branch of the ‘November Borns’ Association.

The items include bags of rice, soft drinks, gallons of cooking oil, tomato paste, detergents and toiletries.

Mr Cyril Odoi, the President of the Association, who made the presentation, said it was part of members’ commitment to supporting institutions that were positively impacting society.

He said the Association had been donating to some orphanages in the country over the past four years.

“Every year we come together and make little contributions to some selected orphanages and I am confident that this donation will go a long way to help address some of the challenges facing the school,” he said.

Mr Fred Tetteh, the Headmaster of the School, who received the items, commended the Association for the kind gesture.

He called on other benevolent organisations, corporate bodies and institutions to emulate the example of the Association and support a worthy cause.
