Frederick Emmanuel Aryeetey is IoD-GH new Chief Executive Officer

Ho, April 21, GNA – The Institute of Directors – Ghana (IoD-GH), a professional organization committed to the professional development and practice of Corporate Directorship has appointed Mr Frederick Emmanuel Aryeetey as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Aryeetey whose appointment took effect from Monday, April 20, 2020 served as the Managing Director of Quantum Nexus Ghana Limited, a business advisory and consultancy firm from March 2019 before joining the Institute of Directors – Ghana.

Reverend Mrs Angela Carmen Appiah, Board Secretary of IoD-GH in a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), described Mr Aryeetey as customer focused and performance driven with a track record of increasing sales and growing bottom line while spearheading operational improvements to drive productivity and reduce cost.

She also described Mr Aryeetey as an experienced change-manager and team builder as demonstrated by his leadership of multi-cultural teams, adding that his career exposed him to business environments in 13 African countries, six European countries -Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the UK, and other countries such as the USA, the Philippines and India.

Mr Aryeetey holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the Business School, University of Ghana, Legon and a Bachelor’s (BSc) degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana.

He is a Fellow Chartered Economist (FCE) of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Ghana (ICEG), and an Associate Member of Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE).

Mr Aryeetey is an accomplished management professional with over 26 years global of experience in corporate governance practices, organizational strategy, international business development, corporate restructuring and organizational effectiveness, stakeholder and relationship management, leadership, innovation and risk management.

He also worked with Cummins Africa and Middle East, where he was General Manager, Cummins West Africa (CWARO) responsible for Cummins business in West Africa excluding Nigeria; prior to this role he had served as the General Manager, Cummins Ghana Limited.

Mr Aryeetey also worked with the Mantrac-Unatrac Group, a leading global Caterpillar dealer and distributor in Africa, Middle East and Europe for over 23 years, where he served in senior leadership positions such as Group Product Support Sales Development Manager; Managing Director – Mantrac and Delta Tanzania Ltd; Managing Director – Mantrac and Delta Kenya Limited, and Regional Parts Manager for Africa.
