You will be accountable to your shepherd – Pastors reminded

North Suntreso (Ash), Nov. 02, GNA – Reverend Augustine Kofi Bempah, the Ashanti West Regional Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church, has reminded pastors of the church to be mindful of their deeds as they lead the flock of God.

According to him, one day pastors would be accountable to God, therefore they should be careful how they lead the people of God.

Rev. Bempah made this known during an induction service at Calvary Temple Assemblies of God (AG), Church at North Suntreso in Kumasi, to officially install Reverend Michael Asare as the new Minister of the church.

The colourful ceremony, held at the church auditorium was attended by Rev. Minsters of Assemblies of God across the Ashanti Region.

Rev. Bempah stressed that the Kingdom of God was not without challenges and admonished Christians, particularly leaders of the church, to remain steadfast, faithful and cautious with their words and actions in difficult moments rather than running away from challenges.

He charged Rev. Asare to focus on the future of the ministry, noting that, many churches started from small beginnings and grew through hard work, discipline and proper planning.

“One thing I want you to know as the pastor of this church is that, build this church for the future generations but not now”, he noted.

Rev. Bempah encouraged the new Minister to remain committed to the task ahead, adding that, diligence today could lead to significant growth tomorrow.

Rev. Michael Asare was born on 6th August, 1976 in Kumasi to Opanin Yaw Kusi and Obaapanin Vida Tweneboah.

After completing Secondary School in 1995, he obtained diploma in Theology from Mid Ghana Bible College, from 2003 to 2005.

Rev. Asare later obtained LLB Degree from KNUST School of law, and he is now a fully fledge member of the Ghana Bar Association of Ghana.

He is married to Dr. Mrs. Sandra Frema Asare, Vice Principal of SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College, and the Lord has blessed them with four children.

In his acceptance message, Rev. Asare pledged to work with discipline, love and respect to help build the church of God.
