Accra, Nov. 2, GNA – Some 400 residents have benefited from a Starlife Assurance free health screening held in Accra and Kumasi as part of activities marking its Customer Service week.
The exercise was held at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service in Accra and the Kumasi Central Prison in October.
A release shared with Ghana News Agency said the exercise formed part of the company’s commitment to health, wellness and community development.
The screening included blood pressure, malaria, blood sugar, and eye health tets.
The assessments were to help participants understand their health status and identify issues that might require further medical evaluation.
StarLife Assurance collaborated with medical officers from Grace Anchor Medical Centre in Accra and Prima Medical Centre in Kumasi.
Mr Edwina Holm-Nortey, Supervisor of Customer Experience and Digital Operations, StarLife Assurance, said customer service included supporting the health and well-being of clients within the company’s operational areas.
“By combining our commitment to service excellence with health-focused community engagement, we seek to make a positive impact beyond our core life insurance offerings,” he said.
Mr Holm-Nortey thanked Grace Anchor Medical Centre and Prima Medical Centre and other partners for supporting the exercise.
StarLife Assurance said it would continue to build stronger relationships with clients, while supporting healthier communities.
Thus, they would execute activities that promote health awareness, disease prevention and overall well-being.
