Antoakrom (Ash), Nov. 2, GNA – The management and staff of Amansie Community Bank PLC have through improved incomes generated from credits and investment operations, as well as recurrent expenditures, recorded over 100 per cent profit before tax.

It obtained a profit before tax of GHS 73 million in 2025 against the 2024 figure of GHS 36 million.

There was a surge in the Bank’s total assets from GHS 761.7 million in 2024 to GHS 1,156.7 billion at the end of 2025, representing 51.8 percent.

The assets increased occurred through investments; cash and bank balances, loans and advances in the reporting period.

Mr Ben Kwakye-Adeefe, Board Chairman, Amansie Community Bank PLC, delivering a report at the bank’s 41st Annual General Meeting at Antoakrom in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti region, applauded the financial institution’s outstanding performance despite the global economy witnessing a heightened uncertainty as major economies adjusted to rising geopolitical tensions and contrasting monetary conditions in 2025.

He said the Bank increased its deposit mobilization in 2025 by 48 per cent over the 2024 figure to record GHS 1 billion, making Amansie the first Community Bank to achieve such a feat in the Ashanti Region.

On lending, a net amount of GHS 80 million was granted as loans and advances to customers of the bank in 2025, representing 77 percent over the previous year.

The bank announced that a total of GHS 1.056 million was used to undertake corporate social responsibilities in 2025.

The significant portion went into educational and social infrastructure at Mansoman SHS, Antoakrom SDA Primary School, National Pensioners Association-Antoakrom, Manso-Adubia United Primary, Nkontem Police Tent City, District Health Directorate Health Awards and Farmers Day Awards in six Districts.

Mr Kwakye-Adeefe announced that in April 2026, the bank covered full tuition of scholarship beneficiaries on regular tertiary programmes, whilst 70 percent tuition fees for those in specialized programmes under the Amansie Bank Scholarship Scheme.

Amansie Community Bank PLC, he pledged, would continue to support relevant socio-economic programmes within its financial resources and capabilities and in conformity with the Companies Act and the directives of the Bank of Ghana.
