Sekyerew Kwamankese (C/R), Oct. 07, GNA- The Sekyerew Kwamankese community in the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese District of the Central Region has crowned a new Baamuhen with the stool name Nana Kow Asimeku V.
Nana Asimeku, 33, known in private life as Mr Francis Acquah, is a Credit Manager at Obrapa Micro Credit Enterprise at Nyankumasi Ahenkro.
He was carried in a palanquin amid drumming and dancing through the principal streets of the community.
The installation rites were performed by the Odikro of the community, Nana Adu Nyarko Nyamekye VIII,
Nana Asimeku took the oath of secrecy and allegiance to the Odikro and the people of Sekyerew Kwamankese.
The Odikro called for unity among the people, saying it would be easy to forge ahead with the development of the community when united.
Nana Asimeku on his part, pledged his commitment to lead the community and urged them to have confidence in him and help him to achieve their expectations.
He expressed gratitude to the Odikro, Church, community and opinion leaders for the love and support extended to him during the processes leading to his installation.
Nana Asimeku advised the women of the community to work hard and be financially independent to enable them to support their immediate families and the community at large.
