Ahafo, Oct. 9, 2026, GNA – President John Dramani Mahama has commissioned two newly constructed Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds at Ahyiaem and Asuatrekrom, both farming communities in the Tano North Municipality of the Ahafo Region, on the first day of his two-day Resetting Ghana Tour of the region.
The facilities are expected to improve access to primary healthcare services for residents of the two communities by bringing essential medical and public health services closer to them.
The commissioning forms part of efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
