Bolgatanga, Sept. 17, GNA – Mr Muniru Ayouka, the current Deputy Constituency Organizer of the Bolgatanga Central constituency, has declared his intention to contest the position of Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Constituency.
Mr Ayouka said his decision was motivated by his desire to build on his years of service to the party and contribute further to strengthening the constituency’s organisational structures.
In a statement declaring the intention, he said his experience as Deputy Constituency Organizer had given him the opportunity to contribute to party activities, grassroots mobilisation and organisational programmes, as well as the strengthening of the constituency structures.
He said the experience had also taught him the importance of teamwork, consultation, loyalty, patience and effective leadership.
“It is on the strength of this experience that I declare my intention to contest for the position of Constituency Vice Chairman,” he stated.
Mr Ayouka said he was seeking the mandate of party members because he believed he had more to contribute towards building a stronger constituency organisation.
He said his vision was to help create a constituency where every member felt valued, every branch was strengthened, and party structures were adequately prepared to achieve the party’s political objectives.
“I come before you not as someone new to service, but as a tested and experienced party activist seeking the opportunity to serve at a higher level,” he said.
Mr Ayouka appealed to party members to support his bid and said their mandate would empower him to contribute more to the development of the constituency organisation.
“Experience has prepared me. Service has tested me. Your mandate will empower me to do more,” he said.
He urged party members to offer him their support and prayers as he sought to serve the constituency in a new capacity.
