Accra, Sept. 21, GNA – Ghanaian women’s football club, Cabfix Ladies FC, have appointed Sarah Humble Ayimedu as Head Coach ahead of the new Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Women’s Division One League season.
Ayimedu takes over from Coach Nani, who parted ways with the Ablekuma-based club at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The former Ridge City FC player brings considerable experience in player development, tactical training and team management to her new role.
She holds CAF C and D coaching licences, as well as a Fundación LaLiga Football Coaching and Player Development Certificate and a Standard First Aid Certificate.
The experienced gaffer previously worked with Outstanding Soccer Academy, Zaafi Soccer Academy and Faith Ladies FC, gaining experience at both academy and competitive league levels.
At Outstanding Soccer Academy and Zaafi Soccer Academy, Coach Ayimedu was involved in developing structured training programmes, improving players’ technical abilities, enhancing game intelligence and preparing young talents for higher levels of competition.
She also served as Assistant Coach of Faith Ladies FC, where she helped the side win the 2024/25 Women’s FA Cup title.
Her coaching achievements include guiding the Western Regional Football Association U-15 girls’ team to the top position in its league and helping Zaafi Soccer Academy finish runners-up in the Ghana Men’s Division Three League.
