Sofia, Sept 20 (BTA/GNA) – Fuel prices in Bulgaria continued to rise this week, according to data from the Fuelo platform as of Sunday.
Diesel saw the largest increase during the week, rising by 3.72%. Its average price increased from EUR 1.88 per litre on September 13 to EUR 1.95 per litre as of September 20. Over the past month, diesel has risen by 7.14%, or EUR 0.13 per litre.
The most widely used A95 petrol rose by an average of EUR 0.05 per litre, or 3.07%, this week. Its average price increased from EUR 1.63 to EUR 1.68 per litre as of Sunday. On a monthly basis, its price has risen by 7.69%, or EUR 0.12 per litre.
The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased by EUR 0.01 per litre, or 1.47%, during the week. Over the past month, LPG has risen by 6.15%, or EUR 0.04 per litre.
CNG has also become more expensive. Its average price increased by EUR 0.01 per kilogramme, or 0.72%, during the week, according to the platform’s data. Over the past month, the increase has been 6.87%, or EUR 0.09 per kilogramme.
On September 18, the Government announced that it would remove the excise duty on LPG as part of a package of measures in response to high fuel prices.
