Accra, Sept. 29, GNA – Four persons have died and another injured in a road crash involving a Toyota Voxy and a MAN Diesel trailer at Anyinasin Junction on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
The accident occurred on Monday, September 28, 2026, with the deceased comprising three males and a female.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), in a Facebook post, said the Bunso Fire Station responded to a distress call at 0521 hours and arrived at the scene at 0535 hours with a seven-member crew.
It said firefighters extricated the trapped victims, secured the scene and helped to maintain the free flow of traffic.
The GNFS said the Toyota Voxy, with registration number GR 9430-26, was completely damaged, while the MAN Diesel trailer, with registration number GS 4064-26, sustained damage to its front compartment.
It said a male victim was rescued and conveyed to the Kibi Government Hospital for treatment.
The GNFS said the cause of the crash was under investigation and the scene had been handed over to the Police.
