Ho (V/R), Sept. 23, GNA – The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited (ECG), Volta Region, has announced a nationwide revenue mobilisation exercise from Wednesday, September 23, to Friday, October 2, 2026.
In a statement issued by Mrs Eunice Tweneboah-Kodua, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of ECG for the Volta and Oti Regions, the exercise would target all categories of customers with outstanding electricity bills, including residential, commercial, industrial and Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
She said special monitoring teams would be deployed to supervise the exercise and apprehend customers who had illegally connected electricity, attempted to interfere with the exercise or undertaken illegal self-reconnection after being disconnected.
The exercise in the Volta and Oti regions would cover Ho, Kpeve, Kpando, Hohoe, Jasikan, Nkwanta, Dambai, Akatsi, Sogakope, Keta and Denu districts.
ECG advised customers with outstanding bills to settle their arrears before the exercise to avoid disconnection and the additional cost of reconnection.
Customers who were unable to access their bills were advised to visit the nearest ECG office for assistance.
The Company encouraged customers to use its regular payment channels, including the ECG Mobile App, to settle their electricity bills.
