Golokwati (V/R), Sept 8, GNA – Mr Frank Afriyie, the Member of Parliament for Afadzato South, has announced that a new National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) centre would be commissioned in the district before the end of the year.
He announced this during his accountability series in the district on Monday.
Mr Afriyie said the centre would help reduce the burden on constituents, who travel long distances to access NHIS services at Kpando or Hohoe.
He said it was his honour to work to ease the challenges facing his constituents and to improve access to healthcare.
The MP said the project was part of efforts to bring essential services closer to the people and enhance enrolment onto the Scheme and assured residents of his commitment to complete the project on schedule.
