Ada, Sept. 15, GNA – Madam Catherine Dela Dzivenu, former Parliamentary Aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ada Constituency, has urged aspirants contesting the party’s constituency executive elections to prioritise unity, discipline and mutual respect throughout the nomination and campaign process.

According to her, the opening of nominations provides an opportunity for the NDC in Ada to demonstrate its commitment to democratic values while strengthening the party ahead of future elections.

Madam Dzivenu congratulated the Ada NDC fraternity and wished all aspiring candidates well as they picked nomination forms to contest various positions, in a message shared with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on the official opening of the party’s nominations.

She encouraged the aspirants to conduct their campaigns with humility and respect, stressing that their individual ambitions should not undermine the collective interests of the party.

“Let us remember that our collective strength lies not in individual ambitions, but in our shared resolve to build a stronger, more resilient and united NDC in our beloved constituency,” she said.

Madam Dzivenu said a united NDC would be better positioned to pursue meaningful development, youth empowerment, social justice, and progress for the people of Ada and Ghana.

She also called on party members to ensure that the nomination process remained peaceful, transparent, and successful, irrespective of the eventual outcomes.

She urged all contestants and their supporters to see themselves as members of one political family and to remain committed to the party even after the elections.

“Regardless of the outcome, may we remain one family, united in purpose and dedicated to victory in the elections ahead,” she added.

Madam Dzivenu, who is also a Governing Board Member of the Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA), also called for collective action to move the Ada Constituency forward, stressing that “Together, we shall move Ada forward.”

The NDC constituency elections are expected to determine the party’s leadership at the constituency level as aspirants to battle for various executive positions.
