Beirut, Aug 4 (RIA Novosti/GNA) – Two people have been killed and another ten have been injured in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, the Palestinian Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, the bodies of two people who were killed have been brought to hospitals in the Gaza Strip, and ten others were injured,” the statement read.
The ministry added that bodies of the dead and injured remain under rubble and on roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 last year, 1,252 people have been killed and 4,120 wounded, with 804 bodies recovered from under rubble, the ministry said.
The total death toll in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,377 with 174,230 injured, the ministry added.
