Accra, Aug. 26, GNA – President John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday made changes to his government, a statement issued by Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidential Spokesperson and Minister of State in-charge of Government Communications, said.
The statement said Dr Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo had been reassigned as the Minister of State for Special Initiatives, while Mr Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum would replace him as the Minister for Labour, Employment and Job Creation.
It said the President had also reassigned Mr Ernest Brogya Genfi, the Deputy Minister for Defence, as a Presidential Advisor on National Resilience and Emergency Preparedness.
It said the reassignments were expected to take immediate effect.
