Accra, Aug 4 – The Africa Monologue Challenge (AMC) Organising Committee has officially confirmed Nouvelle Place as the Pan-African House for Season 3.
It marks a significant milestone in the programme’s preparation.
The 25-room facility, located at 16 ET Akunnor Street in Adjiriganor, East Legon, will serve as the residence and creative hub for 12 finalists representing nations across the continent and diaspora. From 30th August to 1st October 2026, young storytellers from Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Kenya, Botswana, the Republic of Congo, Benin, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, and the African diaspora in the United States will live and work together at Nouvelle Place.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Tuesday said Nouvelle Place is a multi-level, multi-functional facility designed to cater for, hospitality, training, events, and productions at the highest standard.
It said the property features 25 well-appointed rooms and suites, state-of-the-art production spaces, conference facilities, and secure, private grounds with 24/7 power and backup systems.
“Its design accommodates the finalists, production crews, judges, and executives throughout the month-long residency and reality show production.
“The search for the Pan-African House, led by Bombo Investments, an intra-African trade organization working with AMC to promote continental commerce was conducted in partnership with PGGL. Following a site tour by the committee on 2nd August 2026, Nouvelle Place was confirmed as the official host venue”.
“We have secured a facility that matches the ambition of AMC Season 3,” said Mr. Harold Roger Quartey, Chairman of the AMC Organising Committee, Chairman of ACCP Media and Culture Content Sector, and CEO of Bombo Investments. “Nouvelle Place provides the environment where young creatives from across Africa can live, collaborate, and create content that reflects the unity and diversity of our continent.”

The statement said PGGL, Operating Partner of Nouvelle Place, will support the operational readiness of the facility and work closely with the AMC Organising Committee in preparing the venue for the successful delivery of the programme.
Mawuko Kuadzi, Co-Founder and CEO of the Africa Monologue Challenge and CEO of MK Casting, spoke of the transformation that awaits the 12 finalists during their one-month residency at Nouvelle Place.
“Excellence will be the standard at Nouvelle Pan African House,” said Mawuko Kuadzi. “For 30 days, these 12 young Africans will be trained in performance, professionalism, and leadership. When they return to their home countries, they will carry not just the skills impacted in them, but a vision of what Africa can become. This is how we build soft power for Africa’s creative economy, one artist, one story, one transformation at a time.”
Nana Dwomoh-Doyen Benjamin, Co-Founder and COO of the Africa Monologue Challenge and President of the African Chamber of Content Producers, emphasized the strategic importance of the Pan-African House in advancing Africa’s content sovereignty.
“For too long, Africa’s stories have been told by others,” said Nana Dwomoh-Doyen. “The Pan-African House changes that. Each year, 12 young Africans will be transformed into Africa Image Ambassadors, mentored by the continent’s finest professionals, traditional rulers, business leaders, and the Stars of Africa who have built legacies worth passing on. These ambassadors will return to their communities equipped to tell Africa’s stories on Africa’s terms.”
Madam Unice Ablakwa, Founder/Owner of Nouvelle Place, expressed her commitment to preparing the facility for the historic event.
“We are fully committed to transforming Nouvelle Place into a home worthy of Africa’s future storytellers,” said Ablakwa. “Our team is working around the clock to ensure the facility is ready to host the finalists, dignitaries, and production crew. We are also looking beyond the event, Nouvelle Place will continue to serve as a landmark of Pan-African collaboration long after AMC Season 3 concludes.”
The Pan-African House will host high-level visitations from traditional rulers, government officials, business leaders, High Commissioners, and representatives of Pan-African institutions throughout the programme. Each participating country will contribute to the branding and storytelling of the space, ensuring the facility reflects the diversity of the continent.
In the coming weeks, stakeholders including partners and High Commissioners will visit Nouvelle Place to assess the facility’s transformation. These engagements will reinforce the commitment of all parties to the success of AMC Season 3.
The 12 finalists will arrive in Ghana from 30th August 2026. The Grand Finale will take place on 18th September 2026 at the National Theatre of Ghana. With the Pan-African House secured, the AMC Organising Committee is now focused on final preparations for the programme.
The Africa Monologue Challenge is an annual pan-African performing arts competition and cultural exchange project.
It is a rotating event that began in Ghana for Season 1, moved to Uganda for Season 2, and returns to Ghana for Season 3 under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Film Authority of Ghana, the Ghana Tourism Authority, the Diaspora Affairs Office of the President, and the Africa Prosperity Network.
AMC unites Africa’s creative economy, projects a positive narrative of the continent, and celebrates Pan-African culture through storytelling.
