Bolgatanga, Aug. 16, GNA – Mrs Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, the President of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), has donated office equipment to the Pusiga District Office of the association, to enhance its administrative operations.
The items included a desktop computer, printer and an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) machine.
Mr Joshua Azongo, the Assistant Upper East Regional Secretary of the GRNMA, presented the items on behalf of Mrs Ofori-Ampofo.
In a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Bolgatanga, Mr Azongo said the donation was intended to strengthen the capacity of the district office to effectively manage its administrative responsibilities.
The statement said the support would “improve efficiency in data management and documentation and ultimately contribute to quality service delivery to our members.”
It expressed the hope that the equipment would make a meaningful difference in the work of the Pusiga District’s executives and reaffirmed the association’s commitment to the welfare of its members.
“We believe this modest contribution will make a meaningful difference in the work of the district office,” the statement said.
It further disclosed that the initiative was open to other districts with office spaces, noting that any district with an office could formally request similar support.
“Any district with an office space can request for the items and the association will gladly deliver it to them,” the statement added.
The donation forms part of efforts by the GRNMA leadership to strengthen the administrative capacity of its district structures and improve support for nurses and midwives across the country.
