Dzodze (V/R), Aug. 28, GNA – Mr Eric Edem Agbana, Ketu North MP, says 4,000 mono desks provided through GETFund support have effectively addressed furniture deficits in the Municipality’s four Senior High Schools

He said the intervention would provide students with decent and comfortable furniture to support effective teaching and learning.

Mr Agbana said attention would now be focused on addressing furniture challenges in basic schools across the Ketu North Constituency.

“By God’s grace and with the support of the government through GETFund, we have effectively solved the furniture deficit in our four Senior High Schools with the provision of 4,000 mono desks,” he said.

He gave the assurance that efforts would continue to ensure every schoolchild in the Constituency had access to a decent desk by 2028.

“Our next focus is to solve the furniture deficit at the basic school level. By 2028, every schoolchild in our beloved Constituency will have a decent desk in the classroom,” Mr Agbana said.

He said the initiative formed part of efforts to improve the learning environment and ensure that students across Ketu North had access to basic infrastructure needed for quality education.
