Bolgatanga, July 21, GNA – The Upper East Regional Hospital has launched a digital Client Care Portal to strengthen patient feedback, enhance accountability and improve the quality of healthcare service delivery.
The initiative forms part of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to promoting patient-centred care, continuous quality improvement and greater engagement with clients and their relatives.
The digital platform provides patients, clients and their relatives with a convenient and accessible channel to share their experiences and interact directly with hospital management.
Through the portal, users can lodge complaints, make suggestions, compliment and commend members of staff, and rate the quality of services they receive.
In a statement, signed by Mr Godfred A. Polkuu of the Public Relations Office of the Upper East Regional Hospital, and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Bolgatanga, Quick Response (QR) codes, linked to the Client Care Portal had been placed on posters at strategic locations across the hospital to ensure easy access.
It said clients and their relatives could simply scan the QR codes using their mobile phones to access the portal instantly and submit their feedback.
It said Management of the hospital encouraged all clients and visitors to take advantage of the platform by providing honest and constructive feedback, saying their views would play an important role in identifying areas requiring improvement, recognising outstanding service and strengthening the quality of healthcare delivery.
The statement also encouraged staff of the hospital to support the initiative by directing clients and their relatives to the designated posters and promoting awareness of the new feedback channel.
It noted that the Client Care Portal reflected the hospital’s commitment to listening to its clients and fostering a culture of openness, responsiveness and excellence in healthcare delivery.
The statement reaffirmed hospital’s commitment to providing safe, quality and compassionate healthcare services, stressing that meaningful client engagement remained essential to achieving that goal.
