Accra, July 30, GNA – The Ghana Chapter of the Stellenbosch Business School (SBS) Alumni Association has launched a thought leadership series to promote ethical leadership and support policy and business development in Ghana and across Africa.
The initiative will bring together professionals, entrepreneurs and policymakers to develop practical solutions on governance, innovation and sustainable economic growth.
Dr Ralph Nordjo, Chair of the Ghana Chapter of the Stellenbosch Business School Alumni Association, announced the initiative at a forum in Accra on the theme: “Technology-Powered Africa: Financing Sustainable Energy & Enterprise Transformation.”
He said the platform would facilitate discussions on business, governance, economic transformation, sustainability and leadership while promoting practical solutions to financing innovation across the continent.
“As an association, we believe that when capable minds convene, the result is better decision-making, stronger institutions, and lasting impact – a philosophy that underpins the Chapter’s continued investment in these forums,” he said.
Dr Nordjo said the Association also sought to strengthen collaboration between academia, industry and policymakers while encouraging more Ghanaian professionals to pursue internationally recognised business education.
“Today is more than just another alumni gathering. It is a platform where knowledge meets practice, where ideas inspire action, and where leaders come together to shape the future of business, policy, and society,” he said.
The forum brought together policymakers, business executives and academics to discuss financing sustainable energy, enterprise transformation and innovation.
Dr Nordjo said Stellenbosch Business School offered postgraduate qualifications, including the Master of Business Administration, specialised master’s degrees, postgraduate diplomas, executive education and doctoral programmes.
He said the programmes were designed to equip leaders with the knowledge, skills and global outlook needed to navigate an increasingly complex business environment and contribute to Africa’s transformation.
Dr Nordjo encouraged prospective students to engage with alumni to gain insights into the institution’s academic experience and management education.
He also urged participants to use the forum to build professional networks, exchange ideas and foster collaborations beyond the event.
