Israel bombs Gaza, at least 6 dead

July 12 (Adnkronos/GNA) – At least six Palestinians have been killed in approximately 20 Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, particularly in Gaza City and Khan Younis, in the southern part of the enclave. Israel confirmed in the last few hours that the weekend attacks killed “two Hamas terrorists in the northern part of the enclave.”

One of them was identified as Hasan Mustafa Zahir al-Razina, wanted for planting explosives on the “yellow line” demarcating Israeli positions in the enclave.

The second was identified as Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Maati Fiomi, of the Nukhba unit.

Meanwhile, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported four deaths in southwest Gaza City, caused by an Israeli drone strike on a metallurgical plant.

These deaths add to the three reported yesterday by the enclave authorities. All these attacks occurred during a theoretical ceasefire, agreed last October.

Since then, Israeli strikes have resulted in 1,098 deaths and 3,535 injuries; and, since the outbreak of the Gaza war in 2023, Israeli strikes have killed 73,221 Palestinians, while the number of injuries has reached 173,643.
