Accra, July 21, GNA – Organisers of the Ghana AI Summit & Awards 2026 have unveiled the shortlist for this year’s awards, recognising individuals, startups, companies and organisations advancing the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in Ghana.
A statement issued by the organisers and copied to the Ghana News Agency said Deloitte Ghana was providing award assurance services for the programme.
It said the shortlisted nominees were selected through a competitive review process and represented excellence in AI innovation, entrepreneurship, research, public service and social impact.
According to the statement, the awards celebrate outstanding contributions to Ghana’s growing AI ecosystem and honour individuals and organisations developing AI solutions to address real-world challenges while driving economic and social transformation.
For the Best AI Company of the Year category, shortlisted nominees include IPMC Ghana, DigiTransact AI and Soil Solutions Limited, among others.
Nominees for the Best AI for Social Good Award are Enoch Ansong, Nadia Oppong, Isaac Kobby Ayibor, Moses Samanhyia and Matthew Nyaaba, among others.
In the Best AI Startup of the Year category, nominees are Gideon Asare, Job Sulemana, Kane Mani, Agyeman Emmanuel Atta Junior, AiNests Team and Stephen Narh Junior Totimeh.
For the Most Promising AI Idea of the Year, nominees include Caleb Elorm Apedoh, Nevilles Wukanya, Sua Pa AI Studio, Agyeman Emmanuel Atta Junior, Eddie Forson, Stephen Narh Junior Totimeh, Richard Dorglo, Moses Samanhyia and Jude Divine (Bra Jude Gh) Ameworlor.
The AI Personality of the Year category features Isaac Kofi Maafo, Kane Mani, Philip Kweku Assan, Philimon Gyabaa, Folly Mivedor, Kwaku Aninagyei, Amar Deep Singh Hari, Maxwell Osei Gyebi, Moses Samanhyia and Stephen Narh Junior Totimeh.
Nominees for Best AI Innovation of the Year are Agyeman Emmanuel Atta Junior, Sua Pa AI Studio and Npontu Technologies Limited.
For Best AI Services Solution Provider, the shortlisted nominees are Moses Samanhyia, MedExplain AI, Chukwuma Chinaza Adaobi, Gregory Fernandez, Isaac Kofi Maafo, Kwaku Asante, Israel Olatunji Tijani and Eddie Forson.
The sole nominee for Best AI Public Service of the Year is Matthew Nyaaba.
The statement explained that winners would be announced during the Ghana AI Summit & Awards 2026, scheduled for July 29–30, 2026, in Accra, where finalists would be recognised for their achievements and contributions to the advancement of artificial intelligence in Ghana.
Knowledge Innovations and Deloitte Ghana, organisers of the awards, congratulated all shortlisted nominees for reaching this stage and commended them for their contributions to advancing AI in the country.
“The quality and diversity of nominations received reflect the growing innovation, talent and investment shaping Ghana’s artificial intelligence ecosystem,” the statement said.
It noted that the Ghana AI Summit & Awards continued to provide a platform for recognising excellence, fostering collaboration and promoting the responsible development and adoption of artificial intelligence in support of Ghana’s digital transformation agenda.
