Former Ho MCE nominated for Africa’s Most Respected CEOs awards

Ho (V/R), July 11, GNA – Mr Divine Bosson, former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ho and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Ho Central Constituency in the 2024 General Election, has been nominated and shortlisted for the 6th Africa’s Most Respected CEOs Awards Zambia 2026. 

The nomination was announced by The Business Executive Group, a pan-African publishing and special events organisation that recognises outstanding leadership and excellence across the continent. 

A statement signed by Ms Benedicta Wordey, the Event Executive of The Business Executive Group, confirmed that Mr Bosson had been selected as one of the distinguished awardees for this year’s edition of the prestigious awards programme. 

The organisers, the Africa’s Most Respected CEOs Awards celebrates visionary leaders whose contributions have significantly impacted business, public administration, entrepreneurship and socio-economic development across Africa. 

The statement noted that the selection process was based on nominees’ leadership qualities, innovation, professional achievements, commitment to excellence, and contributions to sustainable development within their respective sectors. 

Mr Bosson’s nomination recognises his leadership in public service, particularly during his tenure as Municipal Chief Executive for the Ho Municipality, where he spearheaded several development initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, local governance and socio-economic growth. 

The organisers indicated that the awards ceremony, scheduled to take place in Zambia later this year, would bring together government officials, business executives, policymakers, entrepreneurs and industry leaders from across the African continent to celebrate excellence in leadership and corporate governance. 

The Africa’s Most Respected CEOs Awards has, over the years, become one of the continent’s recognised platforms for honouring individuals and institutions that demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation and commitment to Africa’s development. 

The statement congratulated Mr Bosson on his nomination and wished him success ahead of the awards ceremony.
