Cape Coast, June 27, GNA – President John Dramani Mahama on Friday started a two-day Resetting Ghana tour of the Central Region.
The President inspected key infrastructure projects, engaged with residents and took part in regional development activities.
President Mahama began the tour with a sod-cutting ceremony for a 24-Hour Economy market at Assin Breku in the Assin North District.
At Nyamedom on Friday, he inspected the Community Health Planning and Services Compound and made presentation of free healthcare kits to the facility.
In the afternoon, President Mahama inspected progress of work on the Kafodzidzi–Aburansa Big Push Road in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem Municipality and ended the day with a visit to the Cape Coast Castle.
On day two, the President will inspect the Apam–Mumford–Hweda–Dago–Otuam road project, hold a #ResettingGhana citizens’ engagement at Mephiboseth Auditorium, Apam Junction and review the Winneba Junction underpass project.
