Atebubu, (Bono East) June 25, GNA – Ohempon Dr Yeboah Asiamah, the Paramount Chief of Atebubu Traditional Area in the Bono East Region has commissioned 15-unit classroom block for the Model Basic School of the Atebubu Senior High School..
The Atebubu Traditional Council, with support from the Atebubu Stool Land Secretariat, funded the construction of the facility which has an ICT center, staff common room, and two offices.
Speaking at a ceremony at Atebubu, Ohempon Dr Yeboah said the facility was a testament to “what can be achieved through vision, determination, commitment and teamwork.”
He said education remained one of the most important pillars of his vision and urged families to invest in the education of their children.
“Though roads, markets and water systems and other infrastructures are essential too, investments ought to be made into the minds of our children,” he added.


Ohempon Dr Yeboah explained that the commissioning of the facility marked a significant milestone in the ongoing transformation of educational infrastructure, and a broader commitment to advancing education and human capital development in the area.
The Reverend Father Kingsley Dwamena Asante, the Bono East Regional Director of Education urged the management of the school to take proper care and maintain the facility.
He said quality education depended largely not only on modern infrastructure, but also on the high level of professionalism, dedication and commitment of educators.
