Koase, (Bono), June 19, GNA-Major renovation works have commenced at the Koase Electoral Area office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Wenchi constituency of the Bono Region.
During a visit, Mr Richard Kwadwo Adu, the Wenchi constituency chairman hopeful of the NPP told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Koase, near Wenchi that he funded the rehabilitation of the office to make the party more attractive in the area.
Work on the project comprises interior and exterior re-painting, replacement of damaged louvre blades as well as an installation of a DSTV.
Mr Adu, popularly known in the political space as “Nana Gee” noted that: “Revamping the Koase NPP Office will strengthen the party’s grassroots support base”.
“That aligned to my unwavering dedication to strengthening the grassroots of our great party”, he stated.
Mr Adu added that the installation of the DSTV was necessary to enable the party executives, members and supporters to gather and follow important NPP, and national events including the 2026 World Cup.
He emphasised that it was necessary to create an enabling opportunity, and a common platform for the party people in the electoral area to also get themselves abreast with contemporary politics and trending national and international issues.
By doing so, Mr Adu added that the members and supporters of the NPP in the area would be more enlightened on national issues and thereby undertake issue-based campaigns in the 2028 electioneering.
