Assin Fosu (C/R), June 16, GNA- Mr Godfred Nti Anewu, former parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Assin Central Constituency of the Central Region, has donated two tricycles and a cash of GH¢10,000 to the Paramount Chief and the people of Assin Fosu to support sanitation in the town.
The donation, he said, came at a time when the town was intensifying efforts to improve environmental hygiene, with local authorities and traditional leaders actively championing a cleaner and healthier township.
Presenting the tricycles, Mr Anewu described them as gamechangers in waste management, particularly in hard-to-reach areas of the town.
Mr Anewu, noted for his philanthropic interventions in the constituency, said the gesture formed part of his broader vision to support essential public services that directly impacted the lives of ordinary citizens.

He admonished them to take care of the tricycles to prolong its lifespan.
Nana Agyei Kwame III, the Chief of Akrofuom, who received the donation on behalf of Okumanini Baffour Asare Kyeahene II, the Paramount Chief of Assin Atandansu Traditional Area, expressed gratitude for the support and highlighted the impact the tricycles would have on ongoing sanitation operations.
