Akatsi (V/R), June 21, GNA – The Agorve District of the Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) under the Sogakope Area of the Church of Pentecost has climaxed its week-long celebration with a call on parents and families to seek God first in all circumstances.
The celebration, which was on the theme: “Men Unleashed to Transform Society” (Acts 1:8; Acts 8:4-8; Nehemiah 1:4-11), brought together members of the PEMEM fellowship and the wider congregation at the Central Auditorium.
Reverend Prosper Kofi Kpeli, Agorve District Pastor and Sogakope Area PEMEM Leader, urged parents to anchor their lives in faith and make God the foundation of their homes to raise responsible and godly children.
He said the growing challenges confronting families required parents to prioritise spiritual devotion, prayer and dependence on God.
Rev Kpeli also called on fathers and mothers to respect each other in their homes, stressing that mutual respect remained essential for peace and unity within families.
He urged wives to respect the authority of their husbands, explaining that such reverence fostered harmony and strengthened Christian marriages.

Rev Kpeli reminded parents of their responsibility to nurture their children in the fear of God, noting that godly homes were critical to building strong communities and a morally upright society.
Key messages delivered during the week highlighted PEMEM’s mission of raising men of integrity, spiritual strength and leadership to serve effectively in the church and society.
The programme featured teachings, fellowship activities and exhortations aimed at equipping men to lead their homes and communities in Christ-centred ways.
The Pentecost Men’s Ministry continued to play a significant role in the Church of Pentecost’s vision of transforming society through holiness, evangelism and dedicated service.
This year’s celebration reinforced the importance of parental responsibility and the need for men to exemplify godly character and integrity in nurturing future generations.
