Chief supports construction of classroom block at Dzodze-Tove

Dzodze (V/R), June 13, GNA – Residents of Dzodze-Tove have commended the Divisional Chief of Dzodze Apeyeme-Agorgorme, Torgbui Adzenu III, for his support towards the construction of a six-unit classroom block being undertaken by the Government in the community.  

As part of efforts to facilitate the project, the Chief provided machinery to clear the construction site and supported the reshaping of the access road leading to the project location to ensure easy movement of workers and equipment.  

Residents who spoke to the Ghana News Agency expressed appreciation for the Chief’s commitment to development in the area, describing his intervention as timely and crucial to the successful commencement of the project.  

According to some residents, Torgbui Adzenu III also supported the demolition of some old structures on the site to pave the way for the new classroom block.  

They noted that his continuous support for development initiatives had contributed significantly to improving infrastructure and living conditions within the community.  

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Torgbui Adzenu III said education remained one of his priorities and that he would continue to support initiatives aimed at improving teaching and learning in the area.  

He disclosed that he recently supported the rehabilitation of the Dzodze Apeyeme Central Junior High School with 50 bags of cement and a quantity of sand after parts of the school were affected by severe flooding.  

The Chief said he had outlined several development projects for the area and remained committed to working with stakeholders to accelerate socio-economic development in the community.  

He called on residents to support ongoing development efforts and work together to ensure the progress of the area.
