Atebubu (Bono East), June 29, GNA – Mr Boakye Kyeremanten Agyarko, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) national chairman hopeful, has ended his tour to five constituencies in the Bono East Region.
The tour offered the aspirant an opportunity to interact with, and to canvas for votes from the NPP delegates in Atebubu/Amantin, Pru East, Pru West, Sene East and Sene West constituencies.
Mr Ayarko’s campaign messages centered mostly on building and deepening party unity as well as enhancing the welfare of members and supporters ahead of the Election 2028.
He called for reconciliation, urging the supporters and members of the party to forgive each other’s offences, saying that with unity of purpose, the NPP could easily regain political power in the 2028 General Election.
“Our party’s path back to power begins with healing divisions, rebuilding trust, and bringing every member on board,” he stated and urged them to bury their differences, close ranks and put premium on the collective interest of the NPP.
Addressing the party delegates at Atebubu, Mr Agyarko admonished the supporters and members to allow the supreme interest of the NPP to supersede their parochial interests.
He emphasised that enhancing the welfare of the party members remained a cornerstone and his priority, saying that the party ought to acknowledge, appreciate and recognize the sacrifices of especially the grassroots executives.
“The party officers and grassroots activists who have kept the party strong over the years ought to be catered for”, he stated, pledging to introduce practical welfare initiatives that recognised commitment, reward service and motivate members.
Mr Agyarko expressed his appreciation to the constituency executives and party faithful for their warm reception and the constructive engagements.
He reaffirmed his dedication and eagerness to promote discipline while working hard to ensure that the former Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia becomes the next President of Ghana.
