President Mahama takes Resetting Ghana Tour to Eastern Region

Koforidua, May 1, GNA – President John Dramani Mahama is currently  in the Eastern Region as part of his nationwide Resetting Ghana Tour. 

He started his two-day tour on Friday, May 1, and will end it on  Saturday, May 2. 

As part of the visit, President Mahama will address the National May Day Parade at the Jackson Park in Koforidua. 

According to the Presidency, the President will also participate in a Citizen Engagement Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, May 2, at the ICGC Jesus Temple, Adweso, near the Jubilee Park in Koforidua. 

On the first day of the tour, President Mahama is expected to cut the sod for the construction of a multi-purpose hall and a hostel facility at the SDA College of Education at Asokore in Koforidua. 

He will also break ground for the construction of a 24-hour model market at Asesewa in the Eastern Region.
