Accra, May 23, GNA – President John Dramani Mahama has engaged pupils of Sawla D/A Primary and Junior High School as they demonstrated practical Basic Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (BSTEM) skills during his Resetting Ghana Tour of the Savannah Region.
A statement issued by the Presidency said the President highlighted the Government’s commitment to transforming Basic Education through a more practical, interactive and inclusive Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) approach.
With the integration of robotics and artificial intelligence into the curriculum, the government is equipping young learners with critical thinking and future-ready skills from an early stage.
Over 5,000 schools have already been supported with STEM equipment, alongside ongoing teacher training to ensure effective delivery and impact.
The President was accompanied by Mr Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister of Education and other Government officials.
