Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II is a symbol of hope, progress-COBAAN

Sunyani, (Bono), May 28, GNA-The Council of Bono and Ahafo Association of North America (COBAANA), has lauded Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr Agyemang Badu, the Paramount Chief of the Dormaa Traditional Area for his priceless contributions towards education, infrastructure, youth empowerment, cultural preservation, and social development. 
 
COBAANA, which is the largest umbrella organisation for Ghanaians residing in North America, described Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr Badu II as a symbol of hope, progress, peace, and unity within the Bono Region and Ghana as a whole. 
 
“Under his leadership Dormaaman has witnessed tremendous growth in Nana’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people and his passion for community advancement continue to inspire generations both at home and abroad”, the association stated in a statement issued to mark the 60th birthday of Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr Badu II. 
 
A copy of the statement, jointly signed by Dr DeGraft Kwafo Gyan and Baffour Owusu Sika Aduomi, the President and General Secretary of COBAANA respectively and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani said expressed the association’s sincere gratitude “for Nana’s immeasurable contributions and continuous support toward the growth and development of our association”. 
 
“His guidance, encouragement, and commitment to unity among the people of Dormaaman have greatly strengthened the mission and vision of COBAANA over the years and as we celebrate this important occasion, we also take the opportunity to thank Almighty God for Nana’s life”. 
 
The statement prayed that: “God grants him renewed strength, divine wisdom, excellent health, peace, and many more years filled with joy, favor, and accomplishment” saying that: “May the Almighty continue to protect and preserve him as he carries the heavy responsibility of leadership and service to humanity”. 
 
It noted that: “Osagyefo Dr Badu’s legacy of visionary leadership and dedication to national development remains a shining example for future leaders”, saying that: “His contributions to traditional governance, regional development, conflict resolution, education, and national unity have earned him admiration and respect throughout Ghana and beyond”. 
 
“Today, COBAANA proudly celebrates not only a King and leader but also a father, mentor, and pillar of inspiration to many and we rejoice with Nana, his family, the chiefs and people of Dormaaman, and all well-wishers across the globe on this joyous celebration”, the statement added. 
 
“This significant milestone is not only a celebration of age but also a celebration of a life devoted to selfless leadership, wisdom, service, unity, and transformational development. 

Over the years, Nana has distinguished himself as a remarkable traditional ruler, statesman, mentor, and advocate for the progress and welfare of his people”, it stated. 

As an organization, COBAANA is deeply honored to identify with such an exceptional leader whose vision and dedication have contributed immensely to the advancement of Dormaaman and beyond.
