Accra May 4, GNA – JOBerg Ghana Limited has donated GHS2,250,000 to the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) for the construction of a six-unit classroom block and a six-seater toilet facility at Afife Roman Catholic Primary School in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region.
The support falls under GETFund’s Education Finance and Partnership Initiative (EFPI), a programme aimed at mobilising private-sector contributions to address infrastructure deficits in public schools.
A statement from GETFund copied to the Ghana News Agency said the new classroom block is expected to expand the school’s capacity and provide a safer learning environment, while the toilet facility will improve sanitation and hygiene. Together, the projects are anticipated to enhance teaching and learning conditions for pupils at Afife R/C Primary School.
Mr Joseph Magnus Martey Marteye, CEO of JOBerg Ghana Limited said that the company’s success has always been built on giving back.
He said that investing in the education of Ghanaian children is the most impactful legacy any business can leave.
Mr. Paul Adjei, GETFund Administrator, who received the donation underscored the importance of collaboration between the Fund and corporate bodies in strengthening educational infrastructure nationwide.
