Hearts of Oak part ways with coach Dramani after season review

Accra, May 26, GNA – Accra Hearts of Oak have parted ways with head coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani following a comprehensive technical review of the 2025/26 season. 

Dramani leaves despite guiding the side to a third-place finish in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League, ending the campaign with a 4-2 victory over champions Medeama. 

“The club extends its sincere appreciation to Mr Dramani and his staff for the professionalism, commitment and service,” the statement said. 

“Under their guidance, Hearts of Oak secured a third position finish in the just ended season, and we acknowledge the discipline and effort they brought to the technical team.” 

The club said the team is currently on recess, with the board expected to outline its future technical direction in due course. 

“As part of this transition, the team and players are currently on recess. The Board will, in due course, communicate the technical direction of the club as we continue to align our football philosophy with the long-term ambition and identity of Accra Hearts of Oak,” it added. 

Hearts also thanked supporters for their continued backing and said the decision was aimed at strengthening the club. 

“We thank our cherished supporters for their loyalty and passion, and assure you that every decision taken is aimed at strengthening the club both on and off the pitch, with the ultimate goal of sustained domestic and continental success.”
