Adidome (VR), May 30, GNA-The GlobeServe Missionary Church, under the GlobeServe Ministries International, is set to launch its 30th anniversary celebration and unveiling of a new logo at the GlobeServe Preparatory School campus at Mafi Adidome in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region.

The three-day programme, which is expected to run from June 5 to June 7, would be on the theme: “Thirty Years of Faith, Impact and God’s Faithfulness.”

The anniversary launch was said to bring together dignitaries such as the Founder and President of the ministry, Reverend Samuel Anthony Kofi Dunya, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees in Ghana, Mr David Agbeli, and several other international representatives including pastors and members from Ghana and beyond.

Reverend Mawuli Vinyo, the General Secretary of the Ministry, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, said the celebration would feature a range of activities designed to reflect on the ministry’s journey over the past three decades.

He said the planned activities include a review of old photographs of GlobeServe, a float through principal streets in and around Adidome, the unveiling of a new logo, and performances of Borborbor and Agbadza ahead of the grand launch on Sunday.

“The anniversary will provide an opportunity for the ministry to give thanks to God for his faithfulness over the years and we are calling on the general public to support us to achieve this,” he said.

He explained that God has been faithful to the Ministry for thirty years, changing lives, transforming communities, as well as reaching nations with the Gospel to serve God and humanity with love and compassion.

He stressed that the celebration of three decades of faith, impact, service and disciple-making also marked the beginning of a new season of greater outreach and evangelism, while emphasising that the ministry remained committed to winning more souls for Jesus Christ and expanding its mission work in the years ahead.

“Founded in June 1996 by Reverend Samuel A K Dunya and his wife, Jonhild, GlobeServe Missionary Church has grown into a Ghana-based Christian organisation with a broad mission focus.”

Rev Vinyo said that the ministry operates as a holistic organisation with emphasis on church planting, theological training and community development.

He stated that the ministry further placed strong priority on reaching unreached groups of people and individuals across West Africa through missionary work and discipleship.

As preparations continue, organisers expected that the launch would draw strong participation and create a memorable start to the anniversary celebrations.
