Adidome (V/R), May 11, GNA-Mr Alexander Roosevelt Hotordze, the Member of Parliament for Central Tongu, has announced plans for the construction of a modern police station with officers’ accommodation at Mafi Kumase to boost security operations in the area.
The project, which will also include the provision of a police vehicle, is expected to commence this week following the acquisition of land for the facility.
The initiative is expected to strengthen the operational capacity of the Ghana Police Service and improve policing within Mafi Kumase and surrounding communities.
In addition, the Adidome Police Station is expected to receive a police vehicle to enhance mobility and improve security service delivery across the district.
Mr Hotordze announced the development in a social media post, describing the intervention as part of efforts to improve security infrastructure and support effective law enforcement in the constituency.
The project is expected to improve police visibility, facilitate rapid response to emergencies, and contribute to the maintenance of peace and public safety in the area.
