Aiyinasi (W/R), April 04, GNA – Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle has asked Christendom to reflect soberly on the profound depth of the love of Christ, the saviour of the world who chose sacrifice over comfort and humility over status.
In a Easter message, the Ellembelle lawmaker who doubles as the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources and the Acting Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, said “easter serves as a solemn reminder that true leadership often requires the courage to endure hardship for the sake of the greater good”.
Christians throughout the world are marking the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary over two millenniums ago.
Quoting Isaiah 53:5, Mr Armah-Kofi Buah who is also an Elder at the Sacred Action Church, said, “the Lord Jesus Christ was pierced for our transgressions to act with integrity and to remain steadfast in our commitment to the well-being of those we serve”.
Mr Armah-Kofi Buah wished all “the blessings in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
