Effia (W/R), March 9, GNA – The vibrant colours of Ghana’s national flag—Red, Gold, and Green—filled the auditorium of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) in Takoradi when the Children’s Ministry marked the country’s 69th Independence Day at the weekend.

Clad in traditional Ghanaian attire and costumes reflecting the national flag, the children took part in a joyful celebration that highlighted both cultural heritage and spiritual devotion.

The service featured spirited praise sessions and the singing of patriotic songs, all held under the theme: “Building Prosperity, Inspiring Hope.”

Through choreographed dances and other performances, the children expressed gratitude to God for His continued protection over the nation and for sustaining peace throughout the decades.

The PIWC Children’s Ministry celebration underscored the importance of passing down the story and values of Ghana’s independence to the younger generation, reinforcing that independence is not only a historical milestone but also a legacy to preserve.
