Tel Aviv/Tehran. March 25, (dpa/GNA) – Israeli police reported Iranian missile impacts in several locations on Wednesday morning.
No casualties were reported, the police and Magen David Adom emergency service said.
There were missile alerts in several parts of the country, and warning sirens sounded twice in quick succession in Tel Aviv in the morning.
Iran confirmed the barrage of missiles on state radio.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, the air force attacked two cruise missile production facilities in Tehran in the past few days.
The IDF described the strikes a further step, towards weakening the Iranian leadership’s military production infrastructure.
Media reports said Israeli attacks, are currently focused on the Iranian arms industry.
As the war launched by Israel and the US last month rages on, spilling over into neighbouring countries and upending the world’s energy markets, reports say Washington has given Iran a plan to end the conflict.
Iran’s military leadership has denied being in talks with the US, however.
