Accra, Feb. 10, GNA – St. Augustine’s College in Cape Coast has commissioned an Integrated Communication System to modernise its operations and strengthen institutional efficiency.
Executed in two phases, the system reached full completion on January 22, 2026, following the earlier installation of foundational infrastructure on December 12, 2025, and is now fully operational across the College.
The project delivers a comprehensive modern communications architecture designed to enhance administrative coordination, academic delivery, conferencing capabilities, and overall institutional responsiveness.
It provides seamless internal and external communication, real‑time information sharing and a scalable digital backbone to support long‑term technological growth.
The entire cost of the project was funded by Technology Strategist and International Commercial Law Practitioner, Dr Michael Buadoo, an alumnus of the College.
His philanthropic support enabled the institution to complete the initiative without incurring financial obligations.
College authorities described the project not only as a technological upgrade, but also as a reinforcement of the institution’s pursuit of excellence, sustainability and legacy building.
They said the system would boost operational efficiency, support modern teaching and learning, strengthen stakeholder engagement and elevate the College’s reputation.
The Headmaster, Rev. Fr Patrick Godfred Appiah, PhD, together with the Administrative Team and Student Management, was acknowledged for effective leadership and coordination throughout the project’s implementation.
St. Augustine’s College has also formally inducted Dr Buadoo into its Hall of Fame, honouring his historic contribution and recognising his long‑term impact on the institution under the Catholic educational tradition that governs the College.
In a statement, Dr Buadoo described the project as “an act of thanksgiving to God and a reaffirmation of my belief that leadership is service anchored in faith, discipline and excellence.”
He noted that the College played a formative role in shaping his values, intellect and sense of duty to society.
The Headmaster expressed gratitude on behalf of the College, noting that the installation of the integrated communication system across 21 offices represents a “game‑changing enhancement” that will improve collaboration, efficiency and decision‑making.
The College hopes the milestone will inspire current students, alumni and future generations to invest in its development, emphasising that contributions of vision and impact are remembered and celebrated.
